We've been taught that leadership is supposed to look like one thing, which is through a pretty

patriarchal lens that it's about like sort of force and strength and sometimes, you know,

fear being used as a tool or intimidation.

I think the act of like not knowing every answer and actually asking questions around you

and allowing for it to be a collective, instill so much trust in your leadership because people

feel included and people feel involved and they are genuinely included involved. It's not just

just a feeling. It's like, we're all in this together and like, that is such an exciting way

to make work because everyone is then so equally invested in their visions, bringing your vision

to life and to me that's one of the most exciting things about filmmaking is just working in community
