Summary
Anyone who's served in a time of armed conflict knows that few things can compare to the chaos, confusion and constant fear of war. The stress that puts on a human being is tremendous and, for many, debilitating. But, for an even unluckier few, these already anxiety inducing situations were made all the worse by the addition of aggressive eight-legged atrocities who were as eager to kill as their enemies at the front.

| 0:40.7 | Rob Morphy. Robert and I'm Chris. Spiders. Oh yeah. We've got still. We're there. We've got |
| 0:47.6 | spiders. We've had longer sagas, but this one's going to dig in. Possibly one more week. |
| 0:52.8 | I assume. I can't guarantee it because that will |
| 0:55.4 | definitely ensure that it's more. And I'll find a whole other spider phenomenon that we hadn't |
| 0:59.9 | explored. Okay. So I mean, we've already done like crazy ET Robo spiders. We're still in the |
| 1:06.1 | thick of the giant organic spiders, earthbound, if you will. And then we're going to the fancy assythyric world of astral spiders. All right. Well, today we're dealing with war spiders. Yes, we are. Spiders of war. They are indeed. Okay. Well, I got a lot of questions, but those will be answered in the story, I'm sure. Well, maybe not all of them, but you can pose them and we will answer them. |
| 1:28.0 | We'll have a Q&A. |
| 1:28.8 | Yeah, afterwards. |
| 1:29.6 | It's almost like you write the stories, you read them, and then I ask questions. Oh, it's so funny how that works. Damn this format. Yeah. Damn this podcast format. Got it down to a science we do. Let's get started with anyone who served in a time of armed conflict |

| 2:11.9 | Just as eager. |
| 2:13.0 | Not only do you have enemies at the front, you got spiders at the back. |
| 2:16.1 | Oh, yeah. |
| 2:16.7 | Dang. |
| 2:37.1 | You know what the thing is, though? Back to the front. They're going to eat you. That's a problem. I mean, dying is dying. I suppose bullet dying is not any kind of fun or certainly fired down here. But getting eaten and maybe exanguinated. And while you're still alive, like a vivisection spider style that's no good no good at all no you know dude it's a rock in a bullet place there you go actually spider in a bullet place i guess |
| 2:44.4 | is more apropos right absolutely yeah there you go yeah sick all right let's pick up our global |
| 2:50.1 | probe into what can literally be described as a web of fear involving the giant spider phenomenon by discussing some of the most alarming cases involving military personnel who've had run-ins with spiders of comparatively epic proportions, mostly in times of conflict, but also and unnervingly, |
