So, Somewhere along the line, apparently while I was not paying attention, the argument over

online age verification ended, or so I'm told.

Appearing on the Ezra Klein show the other day, Jonathan Haight said,

quote, we're going to get age verification.

Australia is pushing it.

It's going to work.

It doesn't have to be perfect at first, but within a few years, it will be very good.

John Asconis was recently on the realignment hosted by friend of the show,

Marshall Kosloff, where he said, quote, the battles we're having over the smartphone are already

functionally over. It's going to take five years to play out, but we're going to get age

verification for pornography. We're going to get

parents getting smart on social media. Scones went on to say that he is, quote, extremely annoyed

by the, quote, handful of mercenary paid up libertarians, along with a handful of ideologues,

who assert that we just don't have the technology to do age verification

online. We have a plethora of age verification techniques, he declared. It's a very different
