We have moved into the space where sexual and romantic fulfillment has become the thing that we worship.

bodies. It's not just good news for our souls. Every sexual issue is also a spiritual

issue. When sex becomes confusing, God becomes confusing. Hey there, this is Julie Slatery, and you're

called Making Sense of God and Sex. Throughout the month of February, we've been talking about

the way our view of sexuality is connected to and inseparable from our view of God.

One of the things I hope you're walking away with is that if we want to address questions about sex,

like the ones we've been talking about this month, we first have to address the spiritual questions underneath them.

And we do that through what I call sexual discipleship.

Now, what does that mean?

Sexual discipleship doesn't mean that we talk about sex all the time.

It means that our worldview, what we believe about God, daily impacts every area of our life,

including how we understand sexuality and how we interact with the people that we meet.

So instead of ignoring or avoiding the hard questions, we try to engage with any opportunity

to explore and apply God's wisdom

to life and relationships. Well, that's what we're going to be talking about today and helping
