Have you ever found yourself wanting to talk to God, but you simply didn't have the words?

Maybe your mind was just stretched and maybe your heart was full and maybe your life was painful or

simply you were just dealing with unexpected things and all of the emotions came crashing in,

but you couldn't get them out. If that's you, you're in good company. Sometimes y'all life

be just life in, okay? And when that happens, how we ingest, how we interpret, how we react,

how we respond to life and how we express those responses. The words may evate us. Today's

podcast is going to be great because we're going to be talking about what it looks like to borrow

someone else's words when you don't have your own and how borrowing those words can help you verbalize,

help you express what you need to say to God or even say to yourself about the life that you're

currently living. Often you just need to make the room to do so. I want to give you three things

that will help you to make room or all of the things that are happening in your mind and your heart.

One is make it a priority to spend time alone, whether you're an introvert or an extrovert, it

doesn't matter. You can go to your closet, you can sit in your car, you can hide in the bathroom

from your people. But every now and then, whether it be five minutes or five days, you just need to

make some time so you can hear. Number two, pick up a pen, something happens when you express

yourself on paper. You don't have to be a writer, you don't have to be affluent with words, you don't

have to be a professional, a journalist, just every now and then the things that are bubbling up,

write them down, give yourself permission to not be eloquent or to be an excellent provider

of pictures of life. Sometimes we think we have to be an excellent writer to say anything,

it's simply not true. But what you will do is give yourself permission to put something down

on paper and to take your time identifying your feelings. The third thing I want you to do
