Hey, everybody, I'm Olympian Kerry Tullifson and welcome to the C-Tolly Run podcast.

This week, I'm giving you a review of what I've been doing the last few days.

I was first at Texas A&M for the SEC Cross Country Championships.

So we're going to talk a little bit about that fun. And then from there, I flew to New York where I was doing the pre and post interviews for the Abbott

Dash to the finish line 5K on Saturday.

It was also the USATF 5K National Road Championships.

So we hear from some of the winners there, three of the four, and I can't

wait to bring that to you. And also we did a big recap of the TCS New York City Marathon, which was on

November 3rd. What a wild few days, but I think one of the highlights of the weekend, well, I know the

highlight of the weekend, was watching Ruby, my daughter, win her very first state Minnesota

cross country championship as a team. She in the Highland Park, Scots won as a team. They also

had the first and second place finishers on the individual side. And then their guys were ninth.

So just such a fun weekend. So many inspiring stories. And I just wanted to share a little piece of what I went through with all of you.

So let's get after it. Okay, I just want to start backwards. I'm going to start with the weekend. I was on air with ESPN and ABC. We started on Sunday morning at 8 a.m. Eastern and went to 1130

Eastern on ESPN 2 and the local ABC network. Then we had a recap show on ABC nationally from

3 to 5 Eastern. It was a super long day, but it was so much fun.

My main role was to commentate on the men's and women's elite race. John Anderson was

definitely the play-by-play guy. I do not like doing play-by-play. Hannah Storm was the host,

and we had a lot of other people on the show, Allie on the run, Ryan Field, Sam, Ryan. I mean, there was just a ton of people, Bex, and we had Galen Rupp. I mean, just the list goes on and on. So it was really fun. But in the booth with us was Kurt Fernley, and Kurt Fernley is a stud. He is one of the best that we've ever seen on the wheelchair side of things.

And he was the lead analyst for the men's and women's wheelchair races. Well, let's talk about

awesome races there. Daniel Roman Chuck and Susanna Scaroni, both Americans won the race. For the

first time we have ever had two Americans win in the wheelchair division. Those two races were completely different.
