that guy also had eleven people really trying not to let him run a hundred yards I didn't have an autumn in him away he was wide open

How you doing today my friend I'm good you know we've gotten almost all the way to the summer game to the end of the summer games without bringing up this topic and I hate to bring it up now I feel like we've been very disciplined but you don't like hummus do you?

Not a hummus guy is it because of the breath yes I don't dislike hummus it's not that's like I'm more of a top-of-n-odd guy I love the olives the olives and little olive oil kind of diced up or minced up or whatever I enjoy that greatly I don't mind the taste of hummus and in fact sometimes I really enjoy it but I'm always concerned about the breath implications and let me give you an example I was on a work lunch

lunch a while ago not related to our company too beautiful to biz as you say I should have been there it was John and I were meeting offline I should I should have some personal issues I'm not approving those receipts I ordered something at this work lunch we were at a restaurant I ordered something it be weird if we had a work lunch at a bank I realized restaurant was implied when I said work lunch I ordered something that had hummus and I wasn't eating the hummus

I was eating all the other stuff and then one of my colleagues said oh hey are you gonna have your hummus and I said no please have it and then they were like eight a bunch of it and then as we're leaving they're like oh my god my breath is so bad so garlic and I was like and that's why we don't eat hummus I see yeah now I love me some hummus

Genevieve was snacking with some friends recently snacking with the ferocity of a much younger woman there was something odd about snacking but it was true with a purpose she would but she had bought a bunch of things to put together kind of a Greek platter kind of thing

so we have a bunch of leftover PETA I think there is some top a nod in there that I haven't messed with and a couple of different hummuses and the one that I was just so for lunch I was gonna go upstairs and make myself just a quick sandwich but I'm like oh well we have all this like PETA bread and hummus and I have I love cucumbers on sandwiches anyway and Genevieve's growing all these tomatoes on the garden

so instead of just having a regular sandwich I took some PETA spread some hummus on there put the you know cucumbers tomato a little bit of turkey on there felt very Mediterranean Luke yes felt very do you feel yourself living longer do you feel you feel yourself just healthifying just as you as you begin your your your life as a person who eats the quote unquote Mediterranean diet not only that but I also feel myself becoming more sexually attractive

I'm hearing it down the line on this computer can more confidence but here's what I didn't know when I was making this little snack lunch thing for myself is the hummus that Genevieve bought was the stuff with the roasted red pepper in it or so I thought I didn't realize it was a spicy hummus I've never had spicy hummus before I've had the roasted red pepper which is just sort of a you know it's that sobra brand that I think a lot of people

buy and it's got a little circle of like red pepper or sometimes garlic or or pine nuts stop naming hummus as well but I've never messed around with one that is actually spicy so these were spicy red peppers and I liked it but it was a surprise to me it was a surprise when I did not know

you mess with those mama what is it mama lils mama lils peppers if you're these are very big and Portland I don't know a lot of people a lot of people when you go to some of the cooler restaurants they'll offer mama lils peppers on things I feel like they're having a moment no tell me what they are this doesn't have to do with pita or the Greek diet or anything you're just saying these are popular just a popular pepper popular pepper is show title it is a it's a popular pepper

here in Portland oh you know why I believe it's made in Portland that would explain a lot mama lils goat horn peppers and we're doing a free ad for them right now we would accept their advertising dollars if mama lils wants to get in touch I guess I see it so much in Portland because it's a local company that would make a lot of sense they do enjoy it they're their jar look okay so they're pickled Hungarian goat horn peppers in oil is what the jar I say they got sweet ones

they've got kick butt ones they've got all the whole the whole rich cornucopia of different amounts of spice are represented there I ever since I had the sandwich at base cities deli in Santa Monica, California which I cannot recommend highly enough

even though you do have to wait in about a 45 minute line to get a dang sandwich is this from way back in the day or this is the last time you were in L.A.

Well I started going there way back in the day because oh yeah it was a recommendation from somebody who I had been in a relationship previously an angelino a native angelino and so she was like oh yeah

base city deli got to go and it's just this little Italian grocery store that's what I love it because one of those stores has way too much stuff in it like every corner you turn it just piled up to the rafters of some kind of like was clearly somebody who works for like an Italian

I don't I can't give a good example but some particular kind of product that is you know they they they sold the owner of the store on it and then he bought too many of them and they're not really moving and then just piled up to the rafters that's like a special chocolate wine glass with

but it's made out of chocolate and it's got some kind of an amaretto in it and it's three of them and they're sealed in plastic and then it's got you know like it's a towel I don't know just like it's full of weird shit
