0:09.2	weekend? What's going on? Glad you're here today. I got a fantastic guest, a
0:15.8	guitar god. This guy right here, let me give you a little backstory on this guy, my
0:21.8	guest today, in around, I think it was around 96 or something, a record called
0:27.8	Car Wheels and the gravel road came out by Lucinda Williams. And if you've turned
0:32.9	into the show over the years, you've heard me shout out this record over and over.
0:38.5	And that tour I went to go see at the Fillmore auditorium. I saw that tour a few
0:45.9	times, but the first time was at the Fillmore. And I was in like the fifth row. And
0:52.0	she was out there rocking it, just kicking ass. And I noticed to the right, I was like,
0:58.7	who is this guy killing it on the guitar over here? The guy was dressed really
1:03.7	cool, looked like Buddy Holly was playing a wacky music man guitar. And they went
1:09.5	into this track, Joy, which is a great song on the record. And he just completely
1:16.6	melted the house down with his solo and his feel and his tone. And I was like,
1:22.9	this guy is one of the best guitar players I've ever seen. Who the fuck is it?
1:28.0	That man's name is Kenny Vaughn and he is my guest today. And it was a damn
1:32.8	honor to have this guy on. I didn't think I would ever get him on. I want to give
1:38.0	a shout out to my boy Steve Gorman from the black crows who slipped me as
1:44.9	email. And I shot an email to Kenny. And over a period of a few months, it
1:52.2	happened. He happened to be in town on tour with the country legend Marty Stewart.
