Hi, this is John. This week on the Synophiles, I have a secret. But first our guest, we welcome

the great voice over actor Yuri Loynthall to the show to sit down and talk

1971's Willie Wanka and the Chocolate Factory directed by Mel Stewart based on the

book by Roll Dahl and starring the late great and wonderful Gene Wilder.

Ury Lowenthal has been heard on numerous animated series and video game projects and

he is definitely a kid at heart. He has been my co-host on the cast of characters podcast and currently my co-host

on the Geek and Sundry show we do called Super Animation Game Time.

But most of all, I'm honored to call him my friend. We have a great time talking about this movie, and here's my secret.

I had not seen this film until the night before we recorded this podcast. That's right. All my years I've lived and I'd never

seen Willie Wunka and the chocolate factory and let me tell you something. It absolutely

lived up to its billing and I understand why it holds such a special place in so many hearts all over the world.
