Hey everyone, and if you're watching the video version of this, you will see that I'm in a podcast

studio here in Korea. I rented this space kind of last minute because I felt really inspired to

share why I'm here and what I'm learning about making hard decisions. I'm in Korea for vacation

yes, but this trip is a little different. I'm here for healing, for self-care,

for focusing on my health in a way I haven't been able to back home. And this isn't really

about my specific choice to come here. It's really about how we make decisions when we're at

a crossroads because that skill I think is universal and it matters for all of us. So by the end

of this episode, I hope you'll have

a different perspective or way to think about any big decision you might be facing in your life.

I'm going to use my own decision to come to Korea as the example, but I know that's super

specific. This applies though to any crossroads you're at, whether it's your career, relationships where you live, or just investing in yourself.

Okay, so last year, I shared a big life update about my fertility journey, and at the time, I felt confident sharing it because things were flowing.

It was an emotional decision, yes, but once I made that decision and I crossed that threshold,

everything really clicked into place. So I thought my next update would be a big one and we'd be

on to this next phase, but life really hasn't worked out in that way. And so this past year has

really been very hard emotionally speaking. I've had some new health challenges that have come up,

and I won't necessarily get into all the medical details here

because I think that'll distract and take away from the intention of this episode.

But what I will say is this.

It's that I was close to moving forward with my plan,

and the doctors found something that needed attention.

So my body has really just been in healing mode this entire year.
