Before diving into today's main topic, like what the title of the podcast shows, I wanted to say

thank you for still being here and being a listener. I went on a little bit of an unintentional

break the past few months without really an explanation or notification on it.

I had some life things happen related to the title of this episode, and it was really just a lot

more mind-consuming than I thought it would be. And instead of stressing myself out and trying

to get all the things done with this big life thing that I was navigating, I thought I would give

myself some more grace because if I'm not giving myself grace, then who exactly is going to

give it to me, you know? So the news that I am sharing today is my decision to pursue solo

parenthood. It's been a journey of reflection, letting go of past

expectations, and embracing what this path could really bring. This was actually the thing I was

navigating in my personal life behind the scenes that honestly led to this whole premise of the

podcast in itself. I started this podcast because I wanted a place

to have meaningful conversation around topics that are important to either my guests or myself.

It can be so hard to walk down paths that are different than our social circle, than our family,

than society. And I found this to be especially true

as you get older. And so anytime I recognize someone taking a courageous path, I want to give

an opportunity and a platform to really celebrate that. It's all just about living in alignment
