Summary

Each day of the advent calendar reveals a secret and sometimes sweet holiday treat in anticipation of Christmas. But what if it brought you closer and closer to a far less welcome treat, one day at a time…

Marking the 24 days before Christmas is a tradition we know of today as the Advent calendar.

We've come to expect a printed calendar that includes paper doors for each day that open to reveal an image, a Bible verse, or a piece of chocolate.
