It's been a while since we last talked and Lent has begun with earnest. I'd love to know how it's going

for you. Here it's going very lenty. March in New Hampshire is kind of famous for being

long and drawn out when you're totally overwinter and yet it hangs on. But today actually

happens to be a really glorious day. It's about 63 degrees out.

The sun is shining. I just dropped my two youngest boys off at basketball. And on the way back, I noticed

there really aren't any snow banks anymore. There's still snow on the ground. Don't get me wrong.

But there's not really ice on the road, no more snow banks. And I thought maybe

this afternoon, instead of going for a run on my treadmill, I'm going to run outside. So stay tuned.

We might just be venturing outdoors here in the Great White North this afternoon. But for Dan and I,

Lent got started off in a very interesting way with an interesting, fun,

Mardi Gras experience where we found ourselves alone at home in our house for about, I think it was

seven hours because the kids were doing various things and our two oldest were visiting

siblings in Florida.

And it was just so funny when we realized that was going on.

Like, okay, it's just going to be us what on earth.

And it was the middle of a work day.

So for sure I had work that I had to do.
