I’ll tell you four natural remedies to remove calcium in the arteries, in addition to healthy keto and intermittent fasting to reduce your insulin levels and damage from oxidation. Calcium and cholesterol actually help repair oxidative damage done to the walls of your arteries.
I recommend you ask your doctor to do the coronary artery calcium (CAC) test. This will measure the amount of calcium in your coronary arteries and give you a baseline when you start your healthy eating lifestyle. Your goal is to have a score as close to zero as possible.
There are four recommended nutrients to pull calcium out of the arteries. The first is vitamin K2, a fat-soluble vitamin that transports excess calcium from places where it shouldn’t be — your arteries — to places where it should be; that is, your bones. Take the version called MK-7.
Next is vitamin D3, another fat-soluble vitamin. It works with K2 to transport calcium. Take them on an empty stomach so they’ll be absorbed better.
The third is magnesium, which helps bring down excess levels of calcium; almost like a teeter-totter effect. Fourth is IP-6 or phytic acid. It’s an excellent inhibitor of calcification in your arteries because it’s what’s called a chelator. It binds with calcium and helps pull it out of your arteries.
