Today we again get to hear a story.

This time Gary Whit of Rangles shares one of the core stories of his life.

And as I said at the beginning of the last episode,

anytime you publicly share a true story from your life, you're taking a risk.

And so I just ask as you are listening to consider what does it mean to hold with honor,

the story of another human being whom you don't know.

How can you receive Gary's story with both the sense of sacredness and gratitude?

So with that as an intro, here is my interview with my dear friend Gary Whit of Rangles.

I'm curious if you can kind of start off by sharing when you first learned that you even had a story.

And what prompted you to begin to engage your story?

Yeah, I first heard about story as my wife was entering her.

So my wife was really the lead in this.

We were in a church down in Phoenix, open door fellowship.

And she needed to do some work just in terms of small group to begin to let her story emerge.

And she was hesitant to do so, so I told her, I'll go with you.

So we went to this small group session called Grace Groups on Wednesday nights.

And I went to a separate one from what she was in.

And the facilitator with me, we just began to tell some stories.

I told stories of some sexual counters that I had with an older brother.
