In continuation of our mini series on Four places to never get marriage advice from today is place number two, which is pop culture.

So this one seems, you know, pretty obvious, but you'd be surprised.

Dr. Cam, why is it a bad idea to get advice from pop culture?

What are your thoughts?

You know, it seems like, and it's, you know, I don't want to put anyone down, really,

but I think a lot of people we see in pop culture probably don't value their marriages.

We see a lot of divorces, it seems like, for people in pop culture, whether there's movies

or TV stars or musicians, things like that.

And what is there commitment to marriage?

And if you're trying to build a marriage, like we've talked about, putting God first and

your spouse second, you want the people that you get advice from to follow that same pattern.

And it's hard to think of it.

We were just talking before about trying to think of something.

It's really hard to find people that do that.

And I think it's fine.

You know, enjoy their music, enjoy them what they do in their movies and TVs and stuff like that.

But don't follow what they, what an interview might be or, you know, in some magazine article that they've been interviewed in or something like that,

you're probably not going to get the kind of advice you need for a marriage relationship.
