Outstanding Foods is an incredible plant-based snack food company that recently closed a $10 million

round, valued at $100 million. Bill's experience makes him the ultimate do-or-dire founder and CEO, but it was his unbelievable pivot from the pigless bacon chip to the pigless pork rind after he ran into major co-packing issues that altered the future of the company in the best way possible.

Seeing how vital it was to have a backup product strategy changed the way

that I build companies forever. This experience led to a new aspect of the machine method that I

called a pre-pivot strategy, which is deciding before you launch where you'll pivot your product

line in case your hero product doesn't work.
