Oh, hi y'all. My name is Becky Garrison. I'm a religious satirist and author of a couple of books,

red and blue God, black and blue church, the two atheist crusaders, and their unh and their Holy Grail and as well as

Rising from the Ashes rethinking Church and I'm working on two other books right now

now from what I understand Becky you actually have a book in the works right now is it in your

publisher's hands or?

One book the editor is looking at and I'm starting to research the other book.

Oh and I forgot to mention, also, the magazine is temporarily on hiatus,

but I was also the senior contributing writer for quite a while for the Wittenberg

Door.

And we're hoping to resurrect that shortly.

Now interestingly enough when I ran across the Wittingburg door it kind of had me chuckling and the reason why is an experience I had with my dad.

Now a little while back I was sitting in front of my dad and we're kind of smart Alex to one another and he made some comment to me and I I told him basically that in order to find intellectual conversation one must find

their equal which is why I pray so much and my dad turns to me and says whoaone house son, you're getting very close to blasphemy.

And this is why I find the Wittenberg door so fascinating.

I mean, where do you draw the line for blasphemy versus satire?

I mean, I'm sorry to ask you this but it's just very

fascinating to me what you do. Well first of all there's a line between

satirizing a subject and slamming someone's soul and you need sometimes it's required you get down on your hands and knees and kind of
