Now, you might be saying, hey, I've heard that if you just run a lot, your body will figure out the right technique.

0:20.1

On the other hand, you might be

0:21.6

going, oh, hey, I want to hear about these technique mistakes because I've heard that improving

0:26.9

your running technique will make a big difference. In my opinion, both beliefs are somewhat correct

0:33.7

and somewhat wrong. I certainly believe that there is a lot of validity in working on

1:29.7

at the start of our running career, is really critical. So if you've never worked on your run

1:34.9

technique, odds are there are a couple of things that you can improve. But as I talk about in

1:39.3

this podcast, it's important to not always obsess about your run technique because the people that say,

1:45.8

hey, you shouldn't ever focus on your run technique, your body will learn a good and efficient

1:50.1

run technique. There is some validity to that. So we talk about all of that. When should you focus

1:56.0

on your run technique? What are the biggest beginner running technique mistakes to avoid?
