Today, Google has a Route 66 logo, embedded in the middle of, you know, their logo.

Right.

So I said, well, what's going on with Route 66?

So I click on it.

And it turns out this is the 100th anniversary of the historic 2,400 mile long stretch.

And I don't know how you determine what the 100th anniversary would be because it took a while to build that.

Right. Maybe when they just stopped, they stop tarring it and say, okay, we're done here, you know.

Yeah, and I don't think it's as a romantic as a ride now.

Well, it's slower, right?

Well, a lot of it is just shared with interstate.

Oh, it is. I don't know that.

You're basically traveling a lot of interstate if you're traveling Route 66.

And I guess it looks like an iconic drive, and there's all kinds of old buildings as you pass along the way.

But a lot of it.

How far east is it?

How far west is it?

It starts in Chicago, ends in Santa Monica, California.
