And we begin with two historic sports droughts ending in epic fashion this weekend.

At the Masters in Augusta, Georgia, veteran golfer Tiger Woods came from behind to slam the door

on an 11-year winless streak and earned the right to wear the

master's coveted green jacket for the fifth time in his career.

By all accounts, it is a remarkable comeback from injuries and personal problems that sideline is game for more than a decade.

In baseball, it was a shorter slump, but no less unpleasant.

Baltimore's Chris Davis snapped his owe for 54 Hitler streak, the longest in baseball history,

with not one but three hits against Boston on Saturday.

One of his teammates called it proof that tough times don't last, but tough people do.
