The House is likely to vote today on a funding package that would reopen the government until late January, ending the longest government shutdown in U.S. history.

At the end of the day, the fight lives on.

House Minority Leader Hakeem Jeffries expects the majority of Democrats to oppose the bill,

since it doesn't include an extension of the Affordable Care Act tax credits.

Republicans can afford to lose two members if the House is in full attendance,

and if no Democrats vote with the

GOP, eight senators who caucus with Democrats supported the measure in the Senate. On Capitol Hill,

Ryan Schmell's Fox News. The Trump administration getting an extended pause on paying out full

snap benefits for the month. Fox's Kristen Goodwin has more details on this.

The Supreme Court extending until Thursday night a pause of a judge's order requiring the Department of Agriculture to pay full supplemental nutrition assistance program benefits for November.

The move allows the Trump administration to continue withholding roughly $4 billion from the program.

A number of states had sued over the agency's attempt to roll back issuing the benefits,

arguing it's illegal and risks more than 41 million Americans in need going hungry.

A court citing with states, but the USDA asked for and was granted a temporary stay of the lower

court ruling Friday.

The House is expected to vote Wednesday on a Senate-approved funding measure that aims to reopen the government with funds to replenish SNAP benefits.

And there was no big winner of the mega-million's $900 million jackpot.

The number is drawn on Tuesday night, 10, 13, 40, 42, and 46, with a megaball of one.

No one has won the jackpot since the end of June. The jackpot now grows to at least $965 million for Friday night.
