What's going on, everyone. Welcome to another episode of the fit, healthy, and most of all happy podcast. I'm your coaching host, Josh, here with his co-host and co-coach KG, and I'm in the house. Coming at you with Motivation Monday, where we're going to get you fired up. You know, we're going to answer some questions. We're going to share our favorite quotes of the week. I'm going to go through some thoughts and we have some really good ones. Definitely feeling really inspired and charge up this week. So I'm not going to hold anyone back. Let's jump into it. What quote do you got, Kyle? Yeah. So my quote for the week is the man who thinks he can and the man who thinks he can't are both right. And I just said, you know, I've known this quote for a while. I don't actually

0:38.6

remember who came up with that one. But I just feel like it's like such a simple way. Like, and I genuinely believe that like whatever you want to accomplish. And, you know, some people will be like, what the heck you're crazy? Like if you have your mindset right and if you have just, if you just believe you can, you, you really can.

0:54.7

And I know it sounds a bit corny, but like, you know just believe you can, you, you really can. And I know

0:55.2

it sounds a bit corny, but like, you know, just whatever it is like that you want to kind of just like accomplish. If you have that like, okay, you know what, I'm able to accomplish it, you can. But if you always like, you know, just like, oh man, there's no way I'm ever going to be able to squat this much or lose this much weight or, you know, just like, whatever it is in life, it's a

1:11.4

very high chance that you're not going to be able to accomplish it because you don't believe

1:14.2

you can. So once again, going back, mindset is always everything, the most important contributing factor just to long-term success and just getting the results that you deserve. So just, you know, let that sink in. I'm going to say it one more time because it's so, so, so powerful. And by the way, this can be,

1:31.3

you know, obviously it's not just man, but, you know, just in general, I thought it was so powerful.

1:41.3

The man who thinks he can and the man who thinks he can't are both right. Boom. Yeah, you know, a lot of the time, if you're someone to is like, oh, I can't do this or I'm not able to. You know, You're already shooting yourself in the foot.

1:43.4

That's definitely one of my pet peeves, right?

1:45.9

It's when people don't even give themselves the opportunity to try.

2:18.5

And it's really easy to talk yourself out of something you know but just having that self-belief even is really really powerful right and you know there's no reason you can't too just because something's hard doesn't mean you can't overcome it now going into my quote this was inspired because i got a message i really appreciate every single message we get in the get in the DMs. They were just saying that, you know, life has dealt them some tough cards in the last few couple years. And it's been a struggle and a challenge and they've been facing adversity. But they've been using the podcast and fitness and health and this opportunity to work on themselves, right, despite all that challenge. I just thought that was a great attitude to have. And I just found that very inspirational. And one thing I really challenged all my

2:22.7

clients with, you know, as I say, life is abs and flows, right? It's, you know, the lows of the

2:28.4

valley and the highs of the valley, right? Like there's times where everything's going perfect.

2:32.2

Training's easy. Eating's no problem at all. No variables variables and you feel phenomenal, right? But then there's also times when everything hits the fan, right? And there's also times, you know, through hardship we've spoken before. Like, that's life, right? Like the goal is to do this continually through life. So that's what inspired me with this quote. And when I saw it, it really kind of caught my eye. So sometimes we're tested not to show our weaknesses, but to discover our strengths. So kind of just flipping that on its head, right? Because it's easy, you know, to kind of say, why me or I can't handle this or this is so hard right now. You know, I know whether for some great examples are people switching jobs.

3:08.9

You know, I know there's a lot of layoffs.

3:26.9

I know there's, you know, different people going through different medical issues. You know, there's always going to be things, right? But it's like, okay, what's my strength in this? And one thing for me, too, you know, the more crazy my life gets more, I say, okay, how can I, you know, increase my amount of action and effort to reach the amount of challenge I'm encountering, right?

3:25.3

Because when I can do I, you know, increase my amount of action and effort to reach the amount of challenge I'm encountering, right? Because when I can do that, you know, nothing can take me down. I'll be unstoppable, right? It doesn't mean it's always fun at first. And it takes a second to adapt it to that new level. It's just the same with workouts. You know, when I get new clients like to push him a little bit and they're like oh this is a little bit hard like I'm pretty sorry I'm like listen I know it's tough the first week might be pretty brutal second week might get

3:44.5

a little bit and they're like ah this is a little bit hard like i'm pretty i'm like listen i know it's tough the first week might be pretty brutal second week might get a little better before you know it you're going to adapt up to this level and you're going to see amazing change because of it right if we just keep operating at a low safe level you know we're not able to you know persevere and come through that hardship to receive that reward right like you know pressure makes a diamond

3:57.9

it's a old quote kind of a simple one but i really do truly believe it so the min are sorry

4:03.2

sometimes retested not to show our weaknesses but to discover our strengths i love that man that's uh

4:08.8

definitely a great quote i've never heard that one before but it's definitely uh now in my list of

4:13.0

top 20 i'd say and i only of top 20, I'd say.
