So first of all, I will always have some love in my heart for Edgar Wright for

when he was filming Scott Pilgrim versus the world in Toronto.

He had a series at the Bloor Cinema called The Right Stuff, where he would play, you know,

his favorite movies.

He would do that every week, basically, for two months.

And that was the golden age of Toronto.

That was back before this city turned into a freaking shithole. And during that time, I was friends with the manager of the Bloor Cinema. So little trailers that I made played before all of the right stuff movies that he did. Well, almost, I think. Wow. And you know, he would come out and he would do intros. We're going to watch Buzzbee Berkeley's dames. Oh, what a great screening that was, right? Nobody, nobody there had seen Busby Berkeley's James. Absolutely not. We all had a great time. We're like police story. He also showed his own movies. I think he started it with that. I mean, it was great too because after a couple weeks, you know, the audience thins out a little bit when he's showing stuff that's a little bit more obscure. And so it kind of felt like this almost secret thing for a little while, like, oh, this very famous filmmaker. Yeah, it was really big at the beginning. And then as it kept going, like, not as full. Yeah. Yeah. But that's what made it special. But you got to experience, like the scenophilia of this guy who was in our town making a movie about our town

about us special. But you got to experience like the synophilia of this guy who was in our town making a

movie about our town. About us. If you were, if you were Scott Pilgrim at the time like I was.

I mean, and perhaps you were too. Literally at that time, was I dating a multi-colored haired woman

who is in the background of Scott Pilgrim along with every single one of my

friends except for me and I'm not bitter about it at all. Yes. I mean, again, I've said this before.

I'll say it again. Let's say you were 21 years old with that movie came out. Let's say that for

the previous few years, everybody had compared you to Michael Sarah because you looked like him,

you talked like him.

He was very famous at the time.

You had the exact same level of masculinity as him.

And then let's say you were hanging out in all the exact neighborhoods that he was in that

movie.
