Because we went to the Toronto

International Film Festival, which is still ongoing as we record this. Yeah, I still have a lot of

movies. I'm very excited to see. We're about a week into it. We'll probably on next week's

Patreon give you a further update on more things we see, but this is a state of the union, a sort of

where we're at report.

Now, let's start from the beginning. You look at the lineup. Are you really excited for some

movies this year? Well, I had two goals going into this festival. The first goal was get a broad

view of what contemporary cinema looks like right now. Okay. And I... That is a broad goal, if you will.

Get a state of the union report about what's happening in the art form and I have failed. Because I'm sorry, I've seen what, 13 or 14 feature length films. Yeah. Like, I'm a bunch of shorts. I'm probably not going to get. It's a fool's errand. No. And you've reached the point, and we'll cover it in this episode, where you're like, I can't, I can't do it anymore.
