The most important person in the room is not the athletes. It's the coach. Because the keep it real and cut the bullshit.

Welcome to Table Talk.

Michael Brinson, welcome to the podcast.

0:33.8

I've kind of killed the whole introduction thing because people can just read the description,

0:40.1

but in short, you've been a coach for well over a decade, collegiate level, high school level,

0:47.8

military as well. And as I was, I never like to use the term of research because research is different than me looking you up.

0:59.0

Right.

0:59.5

Right.

0:59.9

So it's, but as I was looking you up and I was watching other podcasts and so forth, it was a little frustrating to me because you've been powerlifting for like 10 years and you're a meathead. but nobody's acknowledging the fact that you're a meathead and that you do this powerlifting thing. 1:56.5

I'm going to guess that wasn't the case that you started training for football. For football.

1:57.3

Right.

1:58.8

And what, I'm always curious in this this and this is kind of like a little

2:03.3

bit of a side topic with just your athletic development because you do work

2:08.0

with younger kids now with the athletic development of so much of those

2:11.7

attributes are developed before were even teenagers so I'm always curious as to

2:17.3

what somebody who played at a high level,
