This week on the show, I give you a little race recap.

I was in New York City for the New York Roadrunners New Balance Fifth Avenue Mile, and it was so much fun.

It was my first event back from the Paris Olympic Games,

and I just loved it. I started the weekend off with the press conference with Josh Kerr, the

1500 meter specialist. He won the 2023 World Championships, and he was the silver medalist

from the Paris Olympic Games. We also caught up with Emma Coburn, the 2017 Steeplechase World Champion, and the 2016

Olympic bronze medalists. And then we also heard from the new Olympian from the U.S.

She's also the indoor world championship bronze medalist. Her name's Emily Mackay. She runs for

New Balance, Boston. And it was a blast. We heard about their seasons. We heard about the Olympics

from Emily and Josh. We also heard about Emma seasons. We heard about the Olympics from Emily and Josh.

We also heard about Emma's return to racing at the Fifth Avenue Mile, which is crazy

because just in April, she broke her ankle.

So the press conferences on Saturday, the races were on Sunday, and I did commentary with Alicia Montanio. She's the Olympic

bronze medalist. And it was so much fun to be able to chat with Alicia. She's got a different

perspective coming from the 800 meters up. And then I was more of a 5,000 meter, 1,500 meter runner.
