Good morning, Valerie. It's great to see you. Great to be with you. Well, I am so excited to be back with you today, Jeff,

and with all of you today listening here in our audience. As you know, well, hopefully you know,

if you've been with us on this ride thus far, Jeff and I have been talking about something that both of us care a lot about.

Jeff and I are both interested in better understanding the demographics of our church and sort of

what's going on inside the hearts and souls of people connected to the Church of Jesus Christ

of Latter-day Saints. And we're in a second

episode of I think it's going to be, I don't know, a three-part series, maybe a four-part series.

I tend to like to keep myself tentative there because it kind of depends on where things go.

But for today, we're going to expand on what we started talking about a week ago. And so if I may,

I want to just sort of quickly review with you all a little bit about what we talked about,

but of course invite you to go back and start at the beginning, which is always a very good

place to start. Jeff, and you correct me if I'm wrong here,

but my understanding of your story is that you, much like myself, were a very traditionally

believing a member of the church for many, many years. And when you became a bishop,

you started noticing something that was curious, but also troubling to you, that some of the people
