Hello everybody. Hey, it's always weird when I do this without Kevin because Kevin is the

one who just jumps in here like a barrel of energy and and and and and exhorts me to action.

However, today on this episode of Black and beyond, I do not have Kevin's once again,

otherwise we wouldn't call it this. He is as he's prone to do often the world doing kept shit,

which means that it falls to me to hold it down for the good folks in Pound Town and do another

episode of Black and beyond. I'm fairly excited about this episode for a couple of different reasons.

The not the least of which is that we get to talk about a bunch of new trailers. We get to talk

about the Guardians 3 trailer, the Fast X trailer and the little running guy Fast trailer. We get to

talk about last of us two episodes, episodes four and five. Last time we were here with Tiffany

Smith. We talked about the the heartbreak of episode three and then we'll get into more heartbreak

because it seems like that's what this show is all about. But I think I've mentioned it before on

on the podcast that that when I was when I was a wheeled in high school and junior high in a

low island, New York, Town called Baltimore. That's where I grew up. That's one of the Bronx

Griffin Baltimore. I was your average standard misfit who never quite, you know, the the Legos never

matched in the right holes. And so I skittered through a bunch of circle, social circles. I played

on football team. I was in the drama squad. I, you know, love comic books. I played

dozen dragons. I played basketball in the summers. Like I was I was that weird polyglot kind of kid.

And consequently my my my musical tastes in like the the mid 80s were a little bit all over the place.

There was jazz and and Motown from my parents and there was sort of the the pop of the day.

You know, rap was beginning to feel itself in a large in a large way, you know, Rundee and C

and L.O. Cool J and on the heels of like Grand Master Flash and Fear is five and all that stuff.

And so and music for me, it never really quite fit all of the things that I was. And so there were
