Summary

On this week’s episode of Beauty Bytes, I am doing a 2021 Recap. This year was filled with so many ups and downs, filled with aesthetic trends we absolutely loved, but also with trends we absolutely hated. 2021 was our first full year with the pandemic, and let me just say, some people got really creative to stay looking beautiful. Listen on to hear my top 10 trends I loved this year, some things I detested, and also my predictions for the upcoming cosmetic trends for the new year..

It's my 20-21 recap.

0:25.2

Today I'm going to talk about all the things for 2021, the things I hated, the things I loved,

1:12.6

and that often causes filler migration.

1:15.0

We also see shadowing and contouring with lip liner to create that feeling that the lips are pulling off the page.

1:21.9

And it's just really not possible to replicate very nicely in real life.

1:26.7

You can't get those stuck on Brat's

1:28.8

doll lips as easily as you think. And I think that getting this heart-shaped lip similar to

1:35.7

Russian doll is totally unrealistic, not that achievable. And unfortunately, a lot of women have it

1:40.8

as their lip goal due to social media images, which as we know can be filtered

1:45.2

and can be distorted. Number two thing I hated about 2021 was mask acne, maskney. So many more
