Summary

In this episode we talk about the vital importance of forgiving others. I referenced an episode that I uploaded about the Gospel. That was episode number 24 (entitled "The Gospel"). 0:51.0

first thing, woke up and boom, scripture immediately brought to my mind.

0:55.4

So needless to say, that's what I was reading that morning, yesterday morning, that's what I went and

1:01.4

spent my time looking into. And this scripture is the parable of the unforgiving servant,

1:07.1

which is found in Matthew 18, which is what we're going to look at today.

1:15.0

And there were a few things in particular out of the passage that really stood out to me,

1:19.7

as well as there's a few things that I feel like the Lord showed me about my own heart through this process, but I will discuss those as we go through that.

1:22.4

So let's go ahead and go to Matthew 18.

1:23.8

I'm actually going to back up a little bit, just for the sake of context a little bit, because

1:26.7

we love context. So in Matthew 18, see, let's start in verse 15 here. And this is Jesus speaking, and he

1:34.2

says, if your brother sins against you, go and tell him his fault between you and him alone. If he

1:39.6

listens to you, you have gained your brother. But if he does not listen, take one or two others along with you,

1:45.5

that every charge may be established by the evidence of two or three witnesses. If he refuses to listen
