Hey guys. So I put a lot of thought into today's episode because I've really been thinking

lately and not even just lately, but the past few years for sure, how much I miss the pre-internet

times.

And I know that some of you listening don't even know what that was like because you were too

young or maybe not even here yet. But everything was just so much more real and simple and it felt

so much more genuine, especially when it came to how people met and maintained friendships and dated

and yada yada yada. And sure sure don't get me wrong the internet has brought

a ton of positives of course but in my opinion it's had a terrible effect on socialization you know

it's supposed to make people feel so much more connected but people have sadly never been more emotionally disconnected.

And it feels like with every new app or feature or update that we're just moving further and

further away from being human, you know? And back in the day, you couldn't Google someone before

a date or find out everything about them

by scouring their social media profiles only pretending you never even saw them.

You didn't have a highlight reel to judge them by, and you either vibed in real life or you

didn't. And you went from there, and you called people, like called them on the phone, and you really put

yourself out there, and you showed up when you said you would, and no one had to wonder if you
