📜 TODAY'S SCRIPTURE: Romans 7: 15-20
15 For I do not understand my own actions. For I do not do what I want, but I do the very thing I hate. 16 Now if I do what I do not want, I agree with the law, that it is good. 17 So now it is no longer I who do it, but sin that dwells within me. 18 For I know that nothing good dwells in me, that is, in my flesh. For I have the desire to do what is right, but not the ability to carry it out.19 For I do not do the good I want, but the evil I do not want is what I keep on doing. 20 Now if I do what I do not want, it is no longer I who do it, but sin that dwells within me.

| 0:46.6 | It remains here in this flesh and blood vessel that we call our bodies, because our bodies have not yet been redeemed. |
| 0:55.0 | You see when we are finding ourselves at the end of life or whenever we are taken to heaven by God, |
| 1:02.0 | we eject this body, but the body itself will be renewed, |
| 1:07.3 | will be redeemed one day. It says the dead in Christ will rise first and will be changed in an instant. You see that body is |
| 1:15.8 | going to be transformed into a new body, one like Jesus had. Now why am I |
| 1:20.0 | talking so much about bodies? Because it's vital to understand this. If you're going to |
| 1:25.2 | understand why you live the way you live, all of us who are believers in |
| 1:30.4 | Jesus Christ would have to raise our hand if we were asked, do you |
| 1:34.4 | struggle with the power of sin in your life? We would all have to raise our hand |
| 1:39.2 | because we're guilty. It is a struggle because we don't want to live according to the flesh. We don't want to live according to the power of sin and the way it would direct us. |
| 1:49.0 | Yet at times we do. What is that all about? Well that is because we have this residue that |
| 1:57.2 | remains in our bodies and is good to know for this reason. Your sin does not define you. Get that in your head. Let that sink in. |
