Welcome to the Huntback Country Podcast in the first episode of 2023.

This is episode number 382 and our guest is Toby Boudreau.

He is the deer and elk coordinator for the Idaho Department of Fish and Game.

He had joined us previously to talk about wolves, wolf hunting, wolf management in the

state of Idaho and that was a couple of years ago.

And we wanted to get Toby back on the podcast and really we went through a ton of topics

as it relates to Idaho, hunting and Idaho, tags and opportunities, the status of different

game animals, different hunting units and zones.

We covered a ton in this episode, including some of the recent problems that occurred with

non-resident tag sales that many of you are probably very familiar with and perhaps even

frustrated by.

We've talked a bit about that on the podcast as well.

So we really appreciated Toby's time and willingness to get on here and go through

such a wide variety of topics.

And I know that if whether you're an Idaho resident of faithful non-resident hunter or someone

who is perhaps new to considering hunting Idaho, no matter where you fall in that, there's
