The amount I put into this book, it was just unusual for me, like it was, like the amount I put into it because I understood I was coming in from a very outside perspective.

And I really, really didn't want it to be white sports writer lecturing people about Tupac.

I wanted to be the people who knew him, the people who felt him, the people who understood him,

expressing what he was.

And honestly God, if I'm able to accomplish that, that worked out.

And okay, I guess that's, that's good. I don't know.
