I interviewed Koki Roberts in March, Koki Roberts, a pioneering journalist, who was perhaps best known for her savvy insight and analysis of politics.

Government in Washington, D.C. passed away today.

Her death was due to complications from breast cancer. I will echo

many who along with her family will miss Koki Beyond Measure for her

contributions and for her love and kindness which she expressed during my interview with her and I wanted to

replay that as a as a memorial to her to she and and her husband. I spoke to Koki and Steve Roberts in March of

this year and I thought I'd re-released the interview of Koki because it expresses so well what we all came to know

about her and what we will miss her kindness her generosity her sharp, and her thoughtful take on the big issues of the day, including

the fourth estate which she discusses with me.

Koki Roberts won many awards including three Emmys throughout her decades long career.

She was named a living legend by the Library of Congress in 2008, so now my interview with Steve and Koki Roberts.
