boldly in a chaotic culture. This Sunday is Easter and churches everywhere will rightly be proclaiming the joy and hope we have because Jesus

victoriously rose from the dead and is alive today.

It's also a time when a lot of people come to church who don't normally do so.

Some are non-believers and some are Christians who just aren't already connected to a church home. But in an increasingly secular and skeptical culture, churches really can't take for granted anymore that people coming have any kind of reference point for understanding why Christians

care about the resurrection so much and why we should even believe a resurrection happened.

For an increasing number of people that is totally outside the realm of something they think is even plausible to believe.

So given all this, there are some important conversations we think the church needs to consider having around the subject of Easter that tend to be ignored.

And so we're going to talk about three of those conversations today.

And none of this is to say that we think churches need to totally redo traditional Easter

sermons, but rather we hope that this will encourage people to discuss

some of these other topics in small groups or Sunday school and maybe even some pastors will

consider engaging with a couple of these points and integrating them into their sermons.

So we're going to dive into this, but first, Alisa has some announcements and we'll do our

tips of the week.
