I'm Kimberly Atkins Store, and this is Justice by Design.

As I record this, it's on a day where I and many other people in Washington, D.C.

and around the country and the world awoke to really, really horrific news,

that there was something that can only be classified, in my view, as a terrorist attack

right here in Washington, D.C., against two young people named Yaron Lyshinsky and Sarah Milgram,

a young couple that was getting ready to share their lives together. And instead, they were

gunned down in what can only be described as an act of horrific anti-Semitism. One reason why I do

this podcast is because I want us to figure out ways and solutions and new ways and tried and true methods in order to build a better society where we don't have to fear, being, having our livelihoods and certainly not our lives taken based on who we are based on someone

else's views of who we are and based on someone else's hatred but we are seeing that play out

time and time again so today i thought it would be a great opportunity to replay a really crucial

conversation that I had with Kenneth Stern a few months back on this podcast in which I learned

so much about the fight against anti-Semitism and where we can move forward from here.

So I think this is a great time to replay that.

Here's a headline from this week.

According to the Anti-Defamation League, anti-Semitism is on a historic rise.

There were more than 10,000 incidents in the past year in the United States of America.

That's more for any previous period since 1979 when the ADL started tracking these incidents.

We've been hearing a lot of it happening on college campuses, but it is not limited to there. It seriously is a problem. This is Justice by Design.
