Summary

Happy 4th of July! We're dropping the new episode of The Readheads a few days early because we were all so excited about this months book. In this episode we are recapping and discussing Girls With Bright Futures with a very special guest, Claudia Oshry! She's an honorary Readhead and she read along with us this month so she's joining us for the episode. As always we're talking about the best and worst parts of the book and all of the other books we read this month. The next book is Dana's choice and she chose A Flicker in the Dark by Stacy Willingham. The overall Readheads Rating for Girls With Bright Futures is 4.08. Let's see a cajon. So we are recording this episode earlier than usual because we're all

0:26.8

going away for July 4th weekend, which means the episode will be, you know, in the can by the

0:32.2

Wednesday, like eight days before it's supposed to drop and everyone's been reading the book and

0:36.4

why make them wait the eight days, especially since it's a long holiday weekend, like people will

0:40.3

be reading. Why not listen to the podcast when you've read the book? There have been a few months

0:44.3

where we have dropped a week late and so why not a week early? Why not us showing up early?

0:49.4

So I do think I'm going to drop the episode on Thursday, like in two, like one week early.

0:56.0

And I think I will appreciate that. We put it in writing. Crazy.

1:00.7

Yeah, now that and I said it on Tuesday too, so like it'd be weird if I didn't. So hi guys,

1:04.8

we're here a little bit early. Hope everyone is, you know, getting ready for July 4th weekend,

1:08.4

going to have an amazing time. I'm going to read a lot of books and start off by listening to

1:12.2

this podcast episode. Got to check in with my other girly Snatchelor. How are you? I'm good. How are you?

1:19.2

I'm good. Thank you. Nobody ever asks how are you doing? We really don't. I turn it back on you

1:23.6

every single time. Right, because you don't want to answer the question because you're updating

1:28.0

my questions because you don't want to talk to me about your personal life. No one shared

1:34.0

anything personal. Someone was sharing something personal. That a little date here and there.

1:39.3

Snatchelor. Oh my god. I'm sorry. That's not because I don't want to share it with the people here.

1:44.8

I don't want to share with people listening. No offense. No offense. Okay, that's fine. We'll take
