I'm your host, Mikkel, and today we are talking about FOMO.

Hey guys, how's it going today?

I hope that y'all are doing amazing. Tell you guys a little bit

about what's going on in my life right now. I have a birthday in a few days and I'm super

excited to celebrate that with my family and friends and I'm going to be 24. Woo! I'm super pumped. I love getting to celebrate my birthday,

and I really enjoy just like any reason to celebrate. So that's what's going on in my life,

and I hope everything is going well for you guys and today I wanted to talk

to you about a requested episode I had from a listener which was on FOMO which is fear of missing

out so I think a lot of us deal with FOMO.

And a lot of times it shows up for us when we're in social situations and we're thinking like, oh, that other situation would have been better, right?

I was kind of reminded of this.

The other week I was at this event and I was talking with this group of right? I was kind of reminded of this, um, the other week I was at this

event and I was talking with this group of girls and this one girl like was having a really hard

time like focusing on like the conversation and she kept like looking around the room and

you could almost see her wheels turning of like, oh, maybe I should talk to that group over there or

that group over there. And I've totally been there where just of like, oh, maybe I should talk to that group over there or that group over

there. And I've totally been there where just thinking like, oh, maybe a different person would

be more fun to talk to or I should have gone to that other party instead of this one.

Making a choice between two different events. One group of friends and another, and then while you're

hanging out with the group of friends you decide to hang out with, thinking like, oh man, I bet it actually

would have been more fun to be over here with that group.
