mean girl syndrome and how do we change that? How can we actually do something to make that different in society and who is already

doing something to change that? So I want you guys to take a deep breath and think back in your life

when you were in middle school or grammar school,

were you the mean girl,

or were you the one who was being the victim of a mean girl.

There's a pecking order that happens societally as we are growing up and I cannot tell you how many clients have come to me having regrets about how they acted in fifth, sixth, seventh, eighth grade, feeling terrible.

And I'm pretty sure the person they victimized, I imagine, has moved on or has worked it out in therapy or I'm not sure what but so we

really need guidelines we really need something in place that can actually

teach young women how to be supportive,

how to be real friends, and the fact that we're all in the same place. We're all afraid to be vulnerable, whether you're in

seventh grade or whether you're 40, right? We're all afraid of being rejected.

We all want to be accepted. So why do we want to be accepted in the

cool kid group? Because we want to be in the group, right? That's part of our
