Most beginning gardeners I've talked to recently are planning to grow at least a portion of their

gardens in raised beds. It's how I started out as well. But as I have grown my garden in

raised beds and have added more over the years, I've made some mistakes. I've also heard of

mistakes that others have made. The thing about raised bed gardening mistakes is that they are not

always easily corrected. That's why I wanted to share with you

seven common mistakes in raised bed gardening. If you're starting to garden in raised

beds, my hope is that you can avoid some of the most common raised bed gardening

mistakes. And if you've been gardening in raised beds for a while, I would love to hear your input on both

because I know some of you guys might be still in the consideration phase, trying to figure out

should you plant in raised beds or should you plant in your garden bed, just directly in the soil.

And that is a valid question and it's one that's really important for you to make,

especially at the very beginning of your gardening journey. Of course, you can always build raised

beds in the future, but it helps to have a plan ahead of time. And I go into all of this in great
