Summary

The 2022 season has arrived! However, with the departure of Russell Wilson and Bobby Wagner in the offseason, the expectations for this team have decreased significantly. But will this team finish among the worst in the NFL even with the loss of talent? We'll talk about who has the lead for the starting QB job as training camp gets underway and how the coaching staff should approach the competition. No matter who starts behind center, can the passing game be effective enough to allow the running game to be productive?

Considering the offseason changes made to the team, there are greater expectations for the defense to improve. But what position group does the success of the entire team rest upon? Is it the defensive line that lost three of their top pass rushers from last season? The linebacker group now that Bobby Wagner has left? Or is it the secondary with the strength at safety, but questions at corner?

We also take a look at some of the latest news around the NFC West as Trey Lance was named starter for the Niners. The Rams have questions at quarterback with Matt Stafford suffering through elbow pain in the preseason. Arizona also has their share of drama at QB with the details of the Kyler Murray contract coming out this past week.

Closing the show, the judge who came up with a six-game suspension for Deshaun Watson makes us question the decision based on the findings of the evidence she reviewed. The last couple weeks also showed how many teams could do something the Seahawks couldn't this offseason.
