Oh man, what are we going to talk about the Psalms?

Why have I been drug, why have I been drug into the Psalms?

Who hunts that?

Actually, this is my first question, so we can just jump right into it.

Marty, why do you hate the Psalms?

If I remember correctly, I know it was a few years ago,

but in the earlier session, whichever one you guys covered the writings,

didn't you say that you don't like the Psalms?

And furthermore, in your book, asking better questions of the Bible now available through fine booksellers

everywhere, Nav Press, isn't it true that you wrote a total of three paragraphs on the songs?

This is becoming an interrogation. Isn't it true? Isn't it true you only wrote three?

It is true. It is true. And I this is not like we all have our

parts of the Bible that are if we have our favorite parts of the Bible it only

stands to reason that we have our least favorite parts of the Bible. It only stands the reason that we have our least

favorite parts of the Bible and while this isn't the book that I struggle with the

most that's reserved for Joshua. Indeed. This is the genre that I have the

hardest time connecting with and to be honest I don't know why.

I would imagine that it's because of my fundamentalist evangelical upbringing that taught me that exegesis was king and I just have a hard time
