0:31.7	Four years ago, I did a series called Social Media Summer Camp and I decided it was time to create a new series on social media with a twist.
0:39.8	In this series, we are going to cover social media through the lens of a local business. I like to fill the gaps in the conversations and I rarely hear advice just for local businesses. Now the cool thing is if you have
0:47.3	a virtual or online business, you will still get value from this series. Some of the advice,

0:56.1	going to cover advice specific to the local service-based business owner. To get us started,
1:03.0	I have a local social media agency owner here with us today. Sarah Romero founded SR Social Media Management in 2013, and she's based in Coachella Valley,
1:15.0	which is in Southern California, in the Palm Springs area, which almost everyone knows.
1:19.4	And Coachella is where the Coachella Festival is. So I'm sure you're familiar with that location as well.
1:25.5	And I'm so excited to welcome you, Sarah, to the
1:29.2	Biz Chicks podcast. Thank you for joining me. Thank you for having me. I think we could say that you are a
1:34.1	long-time listener, but first-time caller. Absolutely. When did you first start listening to
1:40.6	bizchicks? You know what? You started Biz Chicks at around the same time, almost, that I started
1:47.0	my business. And so I know when I was super busy, I needed a medium where I could learn really
1:53.9	quickly from experts and other business people and other people in my field without necessarily
2:00.3	having to sit down and read for an hour.
2:02.8	And so I was looking through iTunes for appropriate podcasts to listen to. And you popped up
2:08.9	and that's how it started. And back then there weren't very many podcasts for women,
2:14.0	women entrepreneurs, right? Correct. Now there's a lot, and I'm happy to be one that's still standing.
