You know, in the law enforcement field also and I've got a little bit of an administrative background also. So we just kind of objectively look at police cases because we're not always right.

You know, and we want to make sure that, you know, in the just in the sense of appealing to the first responders that we entertain and inform. We also bridge the gap for the community that we serve because we want them to see that, you know, we do ask tough questions.

And we do hold officers accountable. This was an egregious case in my opinion because the wrong officer is being held accountable in this.

And again, this is my opinion. But it's a rare opportunity that we have a family member that we can talk about because one of the themes that we explore on this show is the greater mental health of the entire law enforcement family.

Especially when something like this happens, like when somebody is either wrongfully accused or even if they're just accused of something like people may not realize or understand what kind of toll it takes on the family.

I know that this started in 2014 and just for a frame of reference, we had an anniversary the other day of Mike Brown shooting, which was in August of 2014. This happened two or three months prior to that. So tell us what you remember and what you know.
