Well, hello, hello, guys. You're listening to Beauty Bites with Dr. K. Secrets of a Plastic Surgeon, and it's time for a podcast.

0:22.9

And I've been so inspired with marketing and branding. I'm bringing this onto my platform. I'm going to talk to you today about

0:28.2

how to grow your personal brand, your professional brand and your overall brand with a marketing

0:33.6

expert. So excited to introduce Jennifer Kim. Jennifer, all the way from the Bay Area.

0:39.2

Tell us a little bit about you and the book that you've just written. Yeah. So I'm Jen Kim from the

0:43.8

Bay Area, as Dr. Kay said. And I wrote a book called Master Brand Method. And it helps experts

1:33.4

into marketing. I spent most of my career in Silicon Valley. And then in 2006, I decided to start

1:39.1

my own consulting company and grew it from there and I've been doing it ever since. That's incredible.

1:47.0

And the process of writing a book is a learning experience in and of itself. So you self-publish, you went to a publisher.

1:50.0

Yeah, let me say this. Writing a book is the most challenging thing I've ever done,

1:55.0

even more so than starting a business, growing a business, and having children.

1:59.0

And the reason is it's like, it's not to scare anyone, but it's confronting.

2:03.0

I like to say it's confronting because besides the discipline of the actual writing,

2:07.3

I think it's knowing that you're putting and you're packaging all of your expertise.
