how our holiday traditions came about? I'll bet that you're not celebrating what you think you're

celebrating. Today, Paul welcomes back Lara Day, creator of the 13 Sacred Knights Oracle, who

has spent years researching where our holidays actually

originated. Those sacred traditions and stories that we've been told since childhood have

actually been through a four-layer transformation, from pagan nature worship to Christian

overlay, to Victorian domestication, and finally, corporate

commercialism. And we're not just talking about Christmas. Halloween, Thanksgiving, Valentine's Day,

Easter, all of them have been hijacked and molded to serve a billion-dollar industry. Celebrations

that once honored the rhythms of earth, the cycles of darkness and light,

the mystery of life and conquering death, have now turned into shopping, sugar, and alcohol.

We're unconsciously participating in mass rituals that cement commercialism and consumerism into our reality.

And we're passing it on to our children.

But here's the good news.

Once you understand what's really happening, you can consciously choose how you celebrate.

You can reclaim these sacred days and make them actually mean something again.
