All right, here's his comment, and this is, I think, kind of following up on the story I told about

that Muldir Doe perfectly shot that went so much further than anybody ever thought a deer could without lungs basically.

Chris Lake writes to me, he said, I once went after a three-point mule deer buck and got into a running

gun battle with it that lasted 10 minutes and covered about 400 yards down a coolly. The buck had been previously wounded by another hunter.
