Welcome back, everybody. Looking forward to today's mindset of motivation. Monday, we're going to be talking about how to build a life that

you don't want to escape from. This is one of my favorite topics because I can speak from

experience. I know that when I was in my late teens and really through my,

I would say, mid-20s, I wouldn't say that I was living in life that I loved, that I was at

peace with, that I enjoyed in really any way, shape, or form, except for the great friendships

that I had and have, and also my wife as well when we were dating at the time.

So although that was great, it was a mess in many other areas of my life. And what I was always

looking forward to was the weekend. And the weekend was there to escape from the Monday

through Friday. And I don't want that for you. If you are living

for the weekend, there is a serious problem with your Monday through Friday. And here's the bigger

issue. In those two days, those two days will never be enough to recover from five days of stress

and angst and constant worry.

But at the same time, what happens on the weekend, people often look to completely forget,

maybe drink alcohol and unwind too much, sleep in, and destroy their patterns,

maybe healthy patterns that they try to create during the week,

and then you need to recover the whole five days from your weekend. It becomes this vicious cycle.
